Gorgeous watch with a perfect dial that's actually suitable and durable for the field but wears and looks nice in any occasion. It feels great on the wrist, slight amount of weight and not too big. It's a quiet auto mechanism, rarely will I hear it. I really enjoy the strap, though the buckle is square and sharp, and kind of sticks out of the strap profile when closed around your wrist. I haven't had a problem yet though so maybe my concerns are for not. All three values of time are shown with the 12hr font being the largest, all highly visible, white in colour, date window (with only one time value missing to accommodate) and a red second hand. Perfect dial for all uses in my opinion. I trust Hamilton and the Khaki series to stand up to my everyday use as well as all my adventures. It's nice having a real watch, confidence in it's performances and pride in it's history. The Khaki Auto is absolutely beautiful and perfect.

Once I settled on the Khaki Field Auto and received it, I have been nothing be impressed! Love the open case back. Leather is a bit tough and hard to break in though.

I actually was wanting a khaki field for a long time after seeing images and video recommendations. But the price felt very ridiculous to me. It was only until I had a taste of the design and quality of a $200 Khaki quartz, I decided it was worth buying a new swatch group watch. I actually was considering a few other watches like: Marathon MSAR or Formex Field. But I really wanted my first automatic to have a expedition window. So I went back for the quality of Swatch which I’ve worn since I was 11. It also helps that the watch is small and relatively slim. It’s comfortable and people won’t really notice how much money I spent. I would’ve wanted anti-reflective coating, brushed bezel, and black date ring. I knew what I was getting into. And yeah, way too reflective.
