Not really a fault of Hamilton but in general with the saturation of the watch market particularly SWATCH group the watch value plummets after purchase. I still love the watch, I have another Hamilton watch as well, but I like to see when I spend money a product retain its value to more of a degree. The next day after Purchasing my watch I saw an excellent condition of the $1,000 watch I just purchased sell for $545 on ebay. Doesn’t change my view of the watch itself. I prefer to buy new and I bought it to keep not sell but just because it’s significantly cheaper than most Omega doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice brand integrity by saturating the market.
